A one-off issue of View on Colour will be published soon, uniting images from previous issues and new articles dealing with A WORLD OF FOLK View on Colour, the legendary and inspirational colour forecasting publication, will be back for just one special issue dedicated to the world of folk art. A symphony of images reveals inspirational examples of real folk arts and crafts as well as contemporary design and artwork indebted to ethnic heritage from all over the world. Many of the images were regrouped from previous issues of View on Colour and Bloom and replenished by new illustrated articles. Quotation from Li Edelkoorts editorial: ... Narration has a dominant role in the expression of folk, recounting stories of landscapes, gardens, animals, dolls, food, craft and toys with the revival of narrative techniques like colour-weaving, printing and embroidery. We need to express our inner selves and our roots with a form of urgency and exuberance.
