This essential handbook opens with case studies of ten featured designs, explaining what the work was trying to achieve and why the particular palette was chosen. The book then follows with chapters headed by 23 adjectives (i.e. powerful, elegant, trendy?) and providing respectively corresponding color palettes. The ten package designs are shown here in three different color combinations each which are compiled from these palettes The result: 1.035 color/layout variations illustrating how different color combinations can alter a given design and the message it communicates.
